Шкарпетки та кольорові гольфики я страшенно люблю. Але не чорні, а яскраві: в смужку, квадрати і ромби, бульбашки і квітки. Я таке полюбляю давно, вони пасують до багатьох образів. Сьогодні на мені жовті в смужку, а завтра будуть сріблясті.
Тому, коли українське представництво Happy Socks відправило мені на мейл фотографії з останньої зйомки шкарпеток ,- я не відмовилася це опублікувати, а навпаки - зраділа.
До фотографа Terry Richardson (саме він створив для Щасливих Шкарпеток серію нових та яскравих фотографій) 2 років тому я ставилася неоднозначно, а зараз мені подобається його незвичний підхід до фотографії. Дизайнер веселих образів Adam Selman.
Ось, що він розповів про ідею зйомки:
When Mel Ottenberg and I started discussing the sock pieces, we both wanted a bunch of different pieces to be able to pull from when we were at the shoot. Almost a sock inspired collection. I would make a few pieces and then Mel and I would discuss different ways of styling it, and who exactly should wear the piece.
I knew I wanted to make a sock bikini, so I made a few different versions. I also wanted to make some pieces that the boys could wear, so I made the sweatpants. I had an old sock that I had mended years ago, and that’s really where the idea came to just cut all the Happy Socks up and stitch all them together, making it look like a bigger version of the sock itself. Mel took the sweatpants, and made Braydon Szafranski look like a hot skater version of Dirk Diggler.
